Hello, my name is Saief Shaw and I teach Dutch here on Italki. I come from Suriname, which is located in South America. I speak fluent Dutch and English.
Nederlands wordt hier op school onderwezen, omdat Suriname ooit een kolonie van Nederlands was. Mijn hobbies zijn reizen, gymen en alles wat betreft Electronica. Ik besteed het grootste deel van mijn vrije tijd aan het bestuderen van nieuwe elektronica en wat nieuws daarin voorkomt. Ik geef graag conversatielessen maar ook kan ik u helpen met het voorbereiden van interviews, het maken van verslagen, lezen, schrijven en zinnen vormen met behulp van teksten
Daarnaast kan ik u ook helpen om vertrouwd te raken met termen uit de elektronicawereld.

This has been my first time taking Dutch classes, and I'm happy with what I've learned so far. Saief has always patient with me even when I mix up languages and he has also encouraged me to keep practicing, which I really appreciate. I've also learnt a lot about Surinam along the way!
