Chen Ying is a wonderful teacher. She speaks at a level I can understand, always has lots of materials to review so the time goes by quickly, and is so patient and kind. Thank you for another great lesson!

Chen Ying is amazing - she’s always well-prepared and patient. She explains everything clearly and in detail, correcting my mistakes with helpful explanations. Lessons are tailored to my needs, full of practice and great examples. I really appreciate that she mainly uses Chinese, switching to English only when needed. The lessons are not just effective but also a lot of fun. I’ve made great progress thanks to her!

I love my lessons with Chen Ying!

This was my first lesson. She mixed a lot of Chinese with a bit of English, so that caught my brain by surprise. However, somehow we go through it with ease. She was very patient and did not rush me. I was given many opportunities to speak and practice the concepts we learned. I look forward to my next lesson.

Today was my first lesson with Chen Ying and afterwards I immediately booked 15 more! I had let her know before class that I needed to improve my spoken Chinese and wanted to focus on natural conversation. I had told her that my biggest issue was that I become nervous when speaking Chinese and often forget what I've learned. She prepared an entire lesson plan, but to me, it felt like a casual conversation! It really felt like getting to know a new friend. It was perfect! She's kind, patient, and does a great job of encouraging you to take your time and find your words. I'm looking forward to our next lesson.
