I have lived in Ecuador for many years, and so know quite a lot of Spanish. This has helped me to teach and help Spanish students to improve their English quickly.
I have an English accent, which the students in this continent seem to love !
Students from anywhere else in the world are also welcome !

I have a lot of patience as a teacher. I have been teaching professionals at work as well as younger students. The best way for me to teach is to understand what the students need with their English. Classes can be taught to fit these individual needs. Classes need to have variety, and it is very important to keep the students interested. Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
I try and keep the classes as relaxed as possible. To get to personally know the students and give them as much confidence as possible in their English. The students learn the best through as much talking practice as possible, covering as wide a range as subjects/topics as possible. It is important to not continually correct every mistake, but to let the students learn. The more relaxed and confident they are, the more they are learning, in the long run.

Post Doctoral Research Fellow/Research AssistantI spent over 5 years working fr the European Commission in Belgium, first as a post doctoral research fellow, and then as a research assistant.
The official language of the institute was English. During this time, I helped many of my colleagues with reading and correcting their English papers/reports.

Thanks to the class, I learned many new interesting things. Leigh not only taught me new idiomatic expressions, but also patiently correct my pronunciations, such as “ship”, “footwork”, “resin”. I am looking forward to the next class!

another grate lesson, I learnt this time very important phrasal verbs the teacher gives me lots of good examples so i can memorize faster, he is very positive and have grate approach, I can feel the progress, I recommend the teacher very much :)

he understood my level in the first two lessons. Now he does reading passages or grammar exercises according to my level. We often talk together, and he teaches me topics according to my needs. I think his accent is very good and understandable.
