Hello! I'm Orie from Japan. My main jobs are English-Japanese translation and interpretation but I also teach Japanese online and in person.
I love motorcycles, outdoor activities, and Anime.
My husband and I do Anime night instead of movie night pretty often. If you have any suggestion what I should watch next, please tell me !
I started learning English when I was 25 years old but I wasn't able to speak English at all in the beginning. I slowly learned and I am now fluent in English. Because I struggled, I know how difficult it is to speak another language and I will never laugh at any mistakes and will walk through the journey with you.

I've taught over 300 hours on a different platform and switched to Italki recently. I teach to my regular students on the other platform I use, so my time slots here on Itaki are a little bit limited at this moment but I’m planning to switch to Italki completely in the near future.
Although I have 3 years of experience teaching Japanese, I am still learning how to teach efficiently. I mainly teach casual conversation or N5-3 classes. Whenever you cannot understand my Japanese, I can switch to English to explain if it's needed. I might not be the most experienced teacher however, I will do my best to explain and motivate you to keep going.
