Riko

りこさん is truly an incredible Japanese tutor. Today I completed my 20th lesson marking the end of my package, however I 100% will be booking more lessons as I feel they have been incredibly useful! I’ve been working with Riko for around 3-4 months now and in that time my Japanese skills have improved dramatically. I honestly cannot thank Riko enough for how incredibly helpful she has been, and I promise you that you will not regret your decision in picking her to be your tutor!

Riko-Sensei is an exceptional Japanese teacher whose passion for language and patient teaching style make learning both engaging and effective. She explains concepts clearly, adapts lessons to fit your pace, and always encourages consistent progress. Her warm and friendly demeanor creates a comfortable learning environment where it’s easy to ask questions and practice without fear of making mistakes. Riko sensei is always really encouraging and patient. We talked about my weekend and she could give me the space to try and make mistakes while I tried to explain what I did with my friends, where I went, or how I felt. She is a really earnest person and whenever we have lessons I feel that she is really caring about her students and sharing her positivity. I highly recommend Riko-sensei to anyone who wants to improve their Japanese! I really appreciate the way she helps me so much with speaking. She teaches me many new words and expressions, and she is very patient with me even though I’m not very good at having conversations in Japanese. Little by little, her lessons are helping me become more confident and comfortable when speaking, and I can feel myself gradually progressing. I’m very grateful for her support and guidance.

Riko-sensei is an awesome Japanese teacher. She is open to lots of different topics and has great teaching advice for me teaching in Japan. She is really chill and is cheerful for students.
