Sanchita

I really enjoyed Sanchita’s class today! We studied the stories of Akbar and Birbal along with the Rajkumar, and it was both fun and engaging. I especially liked learning new words in Farsi and their equivalent in Hindi—it made the class even more interesting and educational. Looking forward to more classes like this!

Today I got my text about an experience at a Korean festival reviewed by Sanchita, and her corrections were super helpful, then some conversation, and a grammar lesson about the verb that confuses me a lot: LAGNA. Thank you so much for your precise explanations!

Sanchita ji is such a fantastic Hindi teacher! She has taught me so much about complex Hindi grammar rules, and always gives relevant readings and activities to practice those rules afterwards. When I am struggling with difficult materials, Sanchita ji pauses the lesson to figure out what is challenging, and then will adjust her methods to support my learning. This is a sign of an adaptable and hard-working teacher who is open to finding new approaches to ensure that students truly learn the material!

Every lesson with Sanchita ji brings so many new insights and knowledge! She designs lessons around countless grammar and vocabulary topics to explain the nuances of Hindi conversation and meanings, and then follows up with additional practice. The homework is always helpful for challenging my understanding of new concepts and then reviewing difficulties and questions. Sanchita ji is an amazing teacher!

Great help with a story from a book I bought in India, that I had I transcripted from Devnagari and tried to translate, which was a good exercise, Sanchita explained the grammar, sometimes difficult in the story which helped me translating the story better. Then I got some grammar exercises, and definitely understand the points better now having worked on them, made mistakes, and got the explanation for them - when to add the pronoun versus when it is not necessary + how to conjugate the verbs in the first and second parts of the sentence - thank you so much Sanchita!
