Studying with Vestein is fun and relaxed. The atmosphere is casual—if we feel like talking, we talk; if we get bored with talking, we could design activities together on the spot. Language learning often requires a lot of individual practice, so I prioritize practice on my own. When working with Vestein, he helps with the areas I can’t easily manage, for example - pronunciation. With his background in teaching Norwegian as a second language to foreigners, Vestein understands the challenges and offers useful tools and insights to help learner to improve.

I was looking for a teacher who had an academic understanding of language itself, and this young man did not disappoint me. I left the lesson with several new resources that I can use to learn more, new vocabulary and grammar structures, and an explanation of how and why certain words functioned individually and in fixed expressions. Looking forward to many more lessons from Thorstein!

Vestein is an excellent tutor. He is patient, very diligent in his explanations when correcting my mistakes, and has helped me make good progress with my pronunciation, which is something I struggle with. I can definitely recommend him.
