I want to thank Ekaterina for all her work, her teaching style, and her personal approach to lessons. She always comes prepared and uses different kinds of materials instead of just one textbook - reading passages, grammar exercises, stories, audio. After every lesson she sends a short summary with the new words and grammar, which really helps with homework. She's demanding, which keeps me disciplined and motivated, but she's also very patient and always ready to explain things clearly. Thanks to her, i never thought that starting from A1, after just one year, i'd be able to take the B1 exam (hopefully successfully :)). I highly recommend her!

In six months of lessons, I gained enough (possibly even more than enough) knowledge to feel very confident going into the A2 exam. Katerina is a demanding teacher. To keep up with her programme, you’ll need to do a solid amount of work at home (even though she won’t explicitly say it’s mandatory). Because of this high standard, it wasn’t easy at first to actually start speaking Greek. So before the exam I took extra conversational lessons with other teachers, and they specifically noted the strong foundation I had built with Katerina. I’m still studying with her because she takes her teaching very seriously: she provides high-quality, well-structured material from multiple sources without relying on a single textbook, prepares clear lesson notes (AI won’t replace those), and keeps the focus on practice.

Ekaterina is always so polite, helpful, supportive, encouraging, and flexible! I am very fortunate to be working with her!!!

Ekaterina spends much time preparing for my lessons. Today she prepared a well-thought out, detailed presentation of a Byzantine prayer that I asked in the previous lesson. She organized it into a table with Byzantine Greek on the left (text and translations) and modern Greek on the right (text and translations). She took the impossible and made it understandable!!! She's an amazing teacher!!!!!!!!

I haven’t been studying with her for long yet, but I’m already very impressed. She explains the material in a concise and structured way — without unnecessary “fluff” — while still going into great detail and making everything clear. She takes into account each student’s individual learning style and adapts her approach accordingly. She also listens carefully to feedback and preferences. The lessons are efficient, comfortable, and truly productive. I highly recommend her as a Greek language teacher.
