Hej!
My name is Marta, I am 36 years old and I am from Stockholm, Sweden where I have lived all my life. I have a university degree in Sociology. On my free time I like to be out in nature, dance and cook! I am on a personal quest of learning Spanish, so I know the efforts it takes to learn a new language. Besides Swedish I am also fluent in English.

As a teacher I am very patient, easy going and pedagogical. I like to think of my lessons as a relaxed, safe space to express yourself at the level that you are on. I believe the biggest factor to learning a language is having the courage to make mistakes! Actually, I am convinced there are no mistakes when it comes to learning, only lessons! It is beneficial if you have some basic Swedish knowledge since my lessons are conversation-based. From there we can pick topics and subjects based on your interest.
My focus is less on grammar and more on the conversation aspect of language in a relaxed setting. I aim for an informal meeting where there is no pressure, only lots of learning. I also see our lessons as a great opportunity to have a chat and learn about each other. Let’s have a fika!
- A2 level and up since we will focus on conversation.

It was a wonderful class.Marta had a very good sense of where I was struggling and was able to quickly identify and correct mistakes in my pronunciation.

Unfortunately, my experience was not very positive. Marta arrived 7 minutes late to the lesson and was only able to give me 1 minute back, as she said she had another student waiting. In addition, her internet connection was unstable, which disrupted the flow of the session.
