Maya

After a three year break I just had another class with teacher Maya. She is very patient, asks questions and adjusts to my Chinese level super well. Just like in my last review three years ago I highly recommend her as a Chinese teacher :)

Maya is fantastic. She makes you feel really comfortable and encourages you throughout the whole process. She came prepared with slides and also gave me additional practice to help me through the week. We went through a lot in a little amount of time; I'm excited to work with her again.

Highly recommend using Maya. As a beginner she has made me feel extremely supported and understood. She's very easy to connect with and is very patient. She speaks very clearly in Mandarin and English so you don't have to worry if you are a beginner because she can explain the what's and why's in English.

Maya is a very resourceful and creative teacher. Her english is excellent and she has a pleasant and engaging presence. Highly recommended.

I have been working with Maya for 6 months. She is great, as she emphasizes using the material we are learning in organic conversation. She thinks a lot about different resources and approaches outside of the text, and finds ways to help you lean vocab that is most applicable to you. Would highly recommend!
