Ellenar taught me slangs used in UK, Scotland and Ireland. they are all interesting. For example, nowt, owt, scram, proper. allow it, calm, aye, pop on,wee, a go etc., She asked me to set up a sentence each. I did enjoy doing that. It's been over a year since I started lessons with Eleanor. UK English expressions are a part of my vocab.

She taught me a lot of Expressions one after another including sample sentence. Also she refreshed my memory for expressions she taught me in the past. Her lesson is leng and I'm always chuffed to the bits. Today's favorite is fancy a drink, naff, long, bloke, blimey, allow it, quid, kip etc., Time flies. Appreciate it.

Ellenar walked me through how to use UK English by using sample sentences. 1.That's rough vs that's tough 2. That's peng vs That's ace. 3.Throw ones weight around act in a bossy way 4.weigh in on means not decided yet. On the fence has the same meaning. 5.Scottish English is very unique and even for UK people to have hard time, sometimes in understanding. I'm grateful for Eleanors teaching style. I'll book another lesson.
