Gina Gargoles

It is so much fun to learn with Gina. She adapts to my knowledge level and I make great progress with her. She is great at explaining and gives real life examples for me to learn. She also helps communicating with my family on the Philippines and I am very grateful for that.

Gina is a very caring and patient teacher, and she pays attention to what I want to learn. She's always happy to make great new original learning materials, and tailor her lesson style and topics from my requests. Her personality is warm and gentle and she's open to chatting about local lifestyle too. She helps me with pronunciation and language structure using practical sample sentences, which also impart some Philippines customs in our lesson.

Great lesson with Gina! We read a short story about "the missing wallet". Gina read each paragraph first, then I read the paragraph. Then, we went through each sentence and Gina explained whatever I didn't understand. Gina keeps things lighthearted and her lessons have a good pace!

I’ve had many Tagalog classes with Gina, and every single one has been a rewarding and enjoyable learning experience. Her lessons are clear, engaging, and tailored to my pace, making even difficult grammar easy to grasp. She’s patient, encouraging, and genuinely cares about my progress. My confidence in speaking Tagalog has grown so much thanks to her guidance. We also talked about local culture and lifestyle to help me understand more about the Philippines. Great lesson with Gina! We looked at the story "Ang Nawawalang Pitaka" that Gin brought to class. We did a matching exercise with the new vocabulary words. Gina had good feedback on the results. Gina was positive and it was a fun lesson with the story!
