Hi! I’m Lina, a bilingual German-English speaker raised in Belgium and Berlin. My multicultural upbringing and graduation from a bilingual school fuel my love for languages—and teaching them! Currently studying Occupational Therapy in Ireland, I blend my learning from therapeutic techniques with language instruction to create personalized, stress-free lessons. Over the past 2 years, I’ve taught German and English to diverse learners—from school students to summer camp kids—adapting to each unique background and goal. I've taken A LOT of lessons on italki in several languages, and Lina is honestly one of the best teachers I've had. She's a natural teacher and her lessons are focused, directed, and positive. I can't recommend a teacher more strongly.

Lina is a phenomenal teacher. Not only does she focus on the grammar subjects that I need to work on, but she does so using themes and topics of particular interest to me that she's picked up on in previous lessons. I look forward to each lesson and highly recommend her to anyone interested in improving their German.
