སྐུ་ཁམས་བཟང་། I am a native Tibetan tutor with deep roots in both monastic education and traditional Tibetan medicine, offering a unique and enriching approach to language learning. My journey began at Sera Jey Monastery in South India, where I immersed myself in Buddhist philosophy and Tibetan language studies for over ten years. Later, I expanded my knowledge through training in Tibetan medicine, which further deepened my understanding of Tibet’s rich cultural and linguistic heritage. For over six years, I have been teaching Tibetan to students from worldwide, both online & offline, helping them achieve conversational fluency, precise pronunciation, and deep understanding of the language.Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
Being a native Tibetan speaker and have researched various methods to help numerous people learn Tibetan language very efficiently, I am proud to say that non of my students would ever feel they have wasted their precious time and resources. I tailor every lesson to fit the students' needs and challenges. I provide all the study materials necessary like books, video and audio recordings. I have been teaching and exploring different methodologies over the years and realized the importance of implementing different techniques for different students or tailoring the lessons for each particular learner is the key in effective tutoring. First I gauge the learner their level, area of interest, strength and weakness and then tailor the lessons. Thupten is a good teacher. He gives out very calming and friendly energies. He not only teaches Tibetan as a language but also as a culture. He is knowledgable in Tibetan Buddhism from his monastic background and often blends language study with interesting info about Buddhism. I totally recommend him for complete beginners.
