Giulia

Giulia is a fantastic teacher that is really helping me achieve my desired level in Italian. She makes learning both challenging and fun which is exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend getting in touch with Giulia if you want to improve your Italian.

Great lesson with Giulia! We learned the vocabulary about family members. We also learned about reflexive verbs and did a listening exercise. Giulia noticed a mistake I was making with personal pronouns and reviewed the rules so that I understood, which was very helpful!

Giulia takes her teaching very seriously as I've seen again in this lesson. She implemented grammar focus with conversational practise which is exactly what I want from these lessons. Homework has been set again which is great - wonderfully focused approach.

I'm writing this second review for Giulia by way of follow-up to my June comments about her helping me with preparation for the CILS C2 exam. Well, I passed the test! Thanks so much for your great work, Giulia...your assistance was invaluable!

Great lesson with Giulia! Giulia brought a paragraph about "the supermarket" which I read and Giulia asked me to add my opinions. In the lesson, we focused on using the conditional and the subjunctive. I struggled a little to use them in speaking, so it was a good thing that we reviewed. Giulia encourages me and helps me expand my comfort zone , which helps me continue improving each time!

This is the third review I've written about Giulia, who continues to be a teacher I would unhesitatingly recommend to anyone studying Italian, whether at a beginner or advanced level. This time, I want to highlight Giulia's efforts in holding periodic group lessons in which one of her students gives a presentation on a dedicated subject, and then takes questions on that subject. These group lessons help to bring together students of different levels and different backgrounds, and makes for a fun and instructive add-on to Giulia's one-on-one lessons. I very much appreciate the time and energy it takes to organize these group sessions, and I know her other students do, as well. This is just another example of Giulia's willingness to go the extra mile for her students!
