Alicia

I had a lovely conversation with Alicia and she really made me feel encouraged. Before the trial lesson I was quite nervous and not excited. As soon as we started talking her warm personality put me at ease... which is really important for practicing.

It is so fun speaking with Alicia!!!! She is always in a good mood, funny and we have many interests in common. I am always looking forward to conversations with her :)

In today's class I was surprised by how much I was able to express in German. Alicia and I discussed a book that we're both reading and talked about some of the commercials that were on during the Super Bowl. We always have fun during our lessons, but this one I felt surprised by some of the different topics that I was able to speak on. It's great practice, as we're having genuine conversations and she gives me great feedback and helps me with missing vocabulary.
