I had the pleasure of taking a Spanish lesson with Sofia today, and I can confidently say she is one of the best teachers I’ve come across on Italki. I’ve been meeting with various tutors for conversational practice, but Sophia truly stood out. From the very beginning, the session was warm, welcoming, and engaging. She has a natural ability to create a comfortable environment that makes speaking and learning feel effortless. The conversation flowed easily, yet it was structured and purposeful - she has a great sense for balancing fun with productivity. Sofia’s teaching style is encouraging, attentive, and professional. She listens carefully, provides helpful feedback, and gently guides you toward improvement without ever making you feel pressured. I left the lesson feeling both more confident in my Spanish and genuinely excited to learn more. Lessons with Sofia are dynamic, and there is no space for boredom. Conversations are very natural and fun. After a few lessons with her, I highly recommend her classes.

Sofia is hands down the best Spanish tutor I’ve ever worked with. I tried four teachers on iTalki and Sofia is my favorite. She comes on time to the lessons and she comes prepared with writing exercises which is helpful for my beginner level. I also appreciate how encouraging and positive she is. She even challenges me with homework. I only wish she was available more often :)

I have thoroughly enjoyed my conversations with Sofia! She is very engaged and thoughtful, is open to many topics and is willing to dive deeper into themes and not simply ask a question from a list and then move on. Her energy and motivation is contagious. She also speaks English well and is good at interpreting vocabulary on the fly. Please take advantage of her classes, I highly recommend her!
