It’s great to be back in class with Joao! I took some time away from my classes to take care of some things and it feels really good to be back on track - today we shared some good laughs and we talked about so many different topics- it all almost makes me feel like I’m really an advanced Portuguese student - LOL. I guess that’s the effect of a good teacher; one who stops you and corrects but does it in a manner where it flows neatly within the lesson without breaking the rhythm of a fun conversation ! 👌🏾

The teacher is very polite, friendly, and has excellent knowledge of English. The lessons are dynamic, and he has been helping me gain more confidence in answering job interview questions by simulating the role of an HR interviewer. I really enjoy his teaching style and highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their conversation skills in a practical way.

João is an excellent Portuguese teacher—patient, friendly, and very professional. His lessons are always well-structured and tailored to my needs, with a perfect balance between grammar, vocabulary, and real conversation practice. He explains everything clearly, makes learning enjoyable, and creates a comfortable atmosphere where I feel confident to speak and improve. Since starting with João, my Portuguese has progressed a lot, and I always look forward to our lessons.
