¡Hola, soy Ricardo! 🌿📚 As a Quichua teacher, translator, and interpreter with 15+ years of experience, I specialize in helping students master Ecuadorian Quichua dialects—like Chimborazo, Imbabura, and Cañar—while connecting deeply with Andean culture. Though my great-grandmother spoke Quechua, I rediscovered this linguistic treasure as a teen, sparking a lifelong mission to preserve our indigenous identity. Beyond grammar, I thrive on making language learning vibrant and practical: think cooking with Quichua phrases or discussing traditions under the shade of a tree. Whether you’re a heritage learner or a curious explorer, let’s turn lessons into a cultural adventure—cayacama!
Although I know that learning grammar is important, I believe that what most of us want to have the ability to communicate as soon as possible in the language we are learning. So I offer you the opportunity to improve your ability to communicate in Ecuadorian Quechua and Spanish. I consider myself a patient and empathetic person willing to listen. Having lived among various indigenous communities in Ecuador has granted me a profound understanding of their ideologies and customs. As a result, I can also provide insight into the diverse customs that exist within different indigenous communities throughout Ecuador.
