Kana

Reading a short story with Kana-sensei was an absolute pleasure. She's incredibly engaging and always quick to provide creative materials that are just right for the lesson. Reading is a great way to expand your vocabulary and improve comprehension and writing skills, and I'm always full of little questions about grammar or cultural references when I read by myself. Kana-sensei answered all of my questions patiently and clearly. I'm also excited to check out the other intriguing stories she recommended. I'm already looking forward to our next lesson! 今日はかな先生と一緒に本を読んで、ストーリーについて会話するのがとても楽しかったです。独学で本を読むと、文法や文化的な背景についていつも疑問がわいてくるのですが、丁寧に答えてくださってとても勉強になりました。興味深いホラーの本もおすすめしていただき、ありがとうございました。来週のレッスンも楽しみにしています！

Information was very clear and thorough. Lesson was very fun and informative. Teacher really encouraged me to learn!

今回のレッスンではクリスマスやお正月料理について話しました。それから、神社やドラマについても話しました。とても楽しいレッスンでした。

Speaking with Kana-san lets me use vocabulary that I have learned, but rarely use in daily life. Also while speaking I realize my weak points in speaking like grammar mistakes, or some expressions or grammar points I don't how to use properly. It is still hard for me but maybe if I speak more, the words and expression will be easier to remember and use.

kana is great and she's very enthusiastic about what she is teaching. I'm pretty sure she's a very good friend to everyone around her. much appreciated!

Last lesson of 2025, it's been a good year! Kana is one of my most regular italki teachers. Our classes are a mix of book reading, conversations about life in Japan, and random language questions I come up with during the week. Thanks to Kana, my Japanese speaking confidence has improved, and I'm learning new Japanese words and expressions all the time. Looking forward to many more classes in 2026.
