Hello everyone! My name is Alexander and I come from the beautiful Bosnia and Herzegovina, although I lived in four other countries through my life. If you want to know which ones, all you have to do is ask :) I have been passionate about teaching as long as I can remember. My university major is related to education, and I teach martial arts along with languages and in the performance of my duties, have worked with students of all generations and levels of knowledge. Therefore, I am confident that I can adapt to your needs and give you all the tutelage you need to be successful in your langauge learning journey. I strongly believe that more often than not, students learn not only from hearing, but seeing too. Therefore, I like to pepare for my lessons thouroughly. Bringing various visual aids like pictures, videos, and such. On top of that, I like my lessons to be more than just a lecture, I like them to be a dialogue. Language is a means of communication and the best way to learn it is by using it. Therefore, I like to ask my students a lot of questions.

We highly recommend Alexander as an interpreter. Over five sessions, he’s been a great help in communicating with my dad, who speaks Bosnian and had a stroke, as I only know a little Bosnian. Alexander is kind, patient, and cheerful, making sessions comfortable and easy. He’s trustworthy, always prepared, and offers helpful suggestions to improve our talks. Plus, he teaches me some Bosnian and explains it well, which is a nice bonus.
