I am a professional teacher. I am patient, caring and empathetic. I am fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian. I lived in Italy for 5 years and since 2007 I have been living in Belfast in Northern Ireland. I have been teaching English, Italian and Portuguese for over 30 years. I have had students from all walks of life, different nationalities, age groups and all levels. I plan my lessons based on the student’s learning style. I have a BA in Modern Languages - Teaching Qualification as well as CTEFL – Certificate of Teaching English as a foreign language.

I have been studying with Cintía for over a year now, doing private Italian lessons. In that time, I have averaged roughly 1 lesson per week, each lesson being 1 hour. Since starting to work with Cintía I have gone from a complete beginner in the language with no prior knowledge to being able to carry out conversations and enjoy Italian content such as podcasts and films. Cintía is a very professional and capable instructor. I am always being provided with feedback, lesson plans, homework, and encouragement. I would highly recommend her to any student looking to learn any of the several languages she is highly skilled in.
