Jennie

It's been about 8 months since I started with Jennie 쌤 and I love the evolution of our sessions. These days, she introduces a general topic for discussion, and we really analyze it from many different angles. The time always flies and before we know it, we've ended yet another class. :( The dialog we have really emphasizes certain weak points I have with certain vocabulary and grammar forms. I either notate them down to refer back to later OR I break the conversation and ask about how to say something naturally. She then picks up where we left off and we continue our conversation. I learn all the time with Jennie 쌤 and I look forward to our next lesson.

I can't recommend Jennie 선생님 enough for students wanting to improve their conversational skills in a relaxed and encouraging environment. It is amazing how much my speaking has improved since my first lesson. I have taken classes with many tutors on Italki but I currently only take classes with Jennie (3 times a week) because I find them to be not only the most beneficial but the most fun!

I've been taking one-hour long classes with Jennie 선생님 for 9 months now and they're as every bit as enjoyable, comfortable, and stress-free as when I first started. We never run out of discussion topics. In fact, we always find ourselves surprised at how fast the time flies. I would absolutely take more classes with her during the week, but she is available for my time slot only on Fridays. I am envious of her other students who are able to take classes more regularly with her. Thanks again and have a great weekend, Jennie 쌤!!

My lessons with Jennie 쌤 are probably when I use and practice Korean that is most authentic to my life. We are similar in many ways, so we always talk about real-life topics that directly affect or interest us which means that I pick up words and expressions that are incredibly relevant to my life, as well as the most native-like grammar or sentence structures that I need to express myself properly. Jennie 쌤 is also patient and encouraging, and always open to new opinions or points of view, so this also makes me feel comfortable and confident to speak in Korean all the time in our lessons.

Lessons with Jennie 쌤 are the best! She always picks good topics that lead to very interesting questions and conversations, which means that my speaking ability in Korean is really stretched and challenged (in a good way!). I also feel very safe discussing different types of topics in her classes because she is understanding and interested to hear what I have to say. And even in the midst of all that, she still manages to correct my mistakes and tell me about more native or natural expressions in a non-obtrusive manner. So I really appreciate Jennie 쌤 as a tutor 😊 감사합니다!
