Hi, my name is Clover Tao. I'm a native Mandarin speaker and a professional Chinese teacher with a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics. I’ve been teaching for nearly 10 years. Besides teaching, I can also be your personal guide in Shanghai or other parts of China. Youtube: nihaochinesenet

Hi everyone, I'm Clover. I have been teaching Chinese and English for many years, both in China and abroad. I worked at a private high school in Australia for a year, and I graduated from the University of Queensland.
My students come from all over the world and have varying levels of proficiency. My classes cover a wide range of topics, including daily conversation, travel, education, economics, global issues, and more. You can also explore Chinese idioms and literature with me.

My classes focus on improving students’ speaking skills, as most learners aim to communicate effectively in Chinese. I use Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) methods to guide our lessons.
Beyond language acquisition, I enjoy discussing a wide range of topics with my students, including Chinese culture, literature, history, and more. Another great lesson with Clover. This time we talked about food and cooking, which was a really fun topic as we were able to compare cooking styles between different countries.
