Mohammed

Mohammed is an extremely helpful and talented teacher who is always willing to review work or answer questions outside of class time. He is incredibly knowledgeable about MSA grammar and uses a great combination of explanations and examples. I would highly recommend him!

As usual, today's lesson with Mohammed was great. We mainly just had a conversation, pausing sometimes for Mohammed to explain a new word I hadn't know before. I appreciate Mohammed's patience, depth of knowledge, and attention to detail when addressing grammatical mistakes or explaining a pattern in the language.

Arabisch, so sagt man, ist eine sehr schwierige Sprache. Mit Muhammad als Lehrer und Gesprächspartner macht man aber trotzdem recht mühelos Fortschritte. Seit etwa 2.5 Monaten machen wir jede Woche eine Stunde. Mein Wortschatz wird immer grösser, Verben sind kein Problem mehr, und Sprechen wird immer einfacher. Ich bin kein Sprachtalent, um so mehr freue ich mich solche Fortschritte zu spüren.

Always a fantastic class with Mohammed. I have had a busy few months and had to put my classes on hold for a bit. I was nervous to start again after so much time away, but Mohammed is super friendly and welcoming, and we picked right up as if no time had passed. He's the best. Thanks, Mohammed!

Today's lesson with Mohammed was great and consisted mostly of conversation and continuation of the text we have been reading, which is a detective story written in Lebanese Arabic. While we talked and read, Mohammed to time to explain concepts and teach me new words like الرِّعايِة الصّحيِّة and تَحْليل البيانات. Mohammed has also created his own helpful materials that explain grammar fundamentals in-depth.

Today's lesson with Mohammed was very informative and enjoyable, as usual. We began by looking back at the lessons we've done and the progress I've made, and Mohammed sent me a document on Arabic grammar that he wrote to help me further solidify my knowledge of verb conjugations, demonstratives, and other grammatical foundations. We also continued reading the text we have been reading, which is an engaging detective story written in colloquial Lebanese Arabic.
