I like to talk about the differences in word usage between English and Japanese, and about Japanese culture.
Hi, I'm Misako, I live in Sendai city, north Japan. I like games, anime, manga, and music. My favorite games are Zelda, PIKMIN, Apex and ELDEN RING. I often sing songs in my band. I have two cats. I love coffee.

I have passed both the private Japanese Language Teaching Proficiency Test and the national Japanese Language Teacher Examination.
After working at a Japanese bank for 10 years, I taught Japanese at a Japanese language school and online. I have taught Japanese to people from many countries, including the United States, China, Philippines, Korea, and Turkey. I use textbooks such as GENKI, Minna no Nihongo, Marugoto.

I use ZOOM for lessons. During conversation lessons, I will talk with you while I explain grammar that is easily mistaken and things that I want you to remember by writing them in the chat. I also speak English, so beginners are welcome! For grammar lessons, I use textbooks such as GENKI, Minna no Nihongo and Marugoto.

I've had two conversational lessons with Misako san and they have been great experiences so far! Misako san is patient, easygoing, and fun to talk to. I like that she presents alternative ways of phrasing or wording things to sound more natural in conversations. I look forward to booking some more lessons in the near future!!
