My name is Arthur, I am a native French speaker from Orléans, France.
I have had a passion for learning languages for many years before deciding to become a teacher myself!
During my studies, I lived in several countries: Luxembourg, Spain, Scotland, Ireland, [and the] Czech Republic. For two years, I have been living in Heidelberg, Germany, where I teach French at the university and at the Institut Français in the neighboring city of Mannheim.

I have been a French teacher for the past 3 years. I hold the DAEFLE diploma (a professional diploma to become a French teacher, awarded by the Alliance Française) and I am a certified examiner-corrector of the DELF exam for levels A1 to B2 (certification issued by France Education International).
So far, I have taught more than 700 online lessons (on another platform) to over 25 students. I currently teach French to absolute beginners at the university and a conversation class to C1 level students at the Institut Français Mannheim. My lessons are based on real exam topics to prepare you for actual exam conditions. I base my feedback on the official notation criteria to give you constructive and targeted feedback to help you specifically succeed in the DELF exam.
I propose doing simulations of the oral part, correcting the texts you write, and providing you with authentic comprehension exercises (both written and oral). I identify where you can improve and propose activities specifically designed to help you progress in these areas.

DAEFLE - Alliance Française Paris Ile-de-France - 2023The DAEFLE (Diplôme d'Aptitude à l'Enseignement du Français Langue Seconde) is a French teaching diploma for professional purposes. To earn the DAEFLE diploma, one must successfully complete six competency blocks (preparing a course, conducting a course, supporting learners through assessment...) including one specialization block (mine is Teaching French to adults with little or no formal education).
