I immigrated at a young age and grew up bilingual, therefore I have a valuable perspective from both sides and would like to use my language skills to help learners of German with the challenges that come with this beautiful, but also demanding language. I've worked in my university department and taught the basics of linguistics in small group seminars to students there and I've helped teaching German to adolescence in a language school in Cambridge, England. At the moment I have an internship in the language centre in our university with students of the German Level B2, where I have the liberty to teach and organise my own lessons. My teaching is based on the intercultural model of language instruction. Speaking, writing and insights into the culture are my top priorities, but we can also go through traditional grammar exercises together if desired!
