Today we reviewed numbers, which was great. And then I got to practice reading, translating and understanding what I read. Asami-sensei let's me fail and try again, which helps a lot when learning a new language. The Hiragana is getting along, and the Katakana is on it's way too. Another wonderful class with a lot of learning. Arrigato!

Today I got to learn about Japanese New Years and at the same time practice reading Hiragana and some Katakana. Asami-sensei is wonderful and very knowledgeable. It was great to learn a lot about some Japanese culture. Arrigato!

Asami-sensei is a very patient teacher. Today I read hiragana, and she corrected my mistakes and pronunciation throughout my reading. She is very good at what she does, and I am learning something new every time. We have a Google docs with notes that I can use for my studies, and I have access to a lot of good learning materials! She is a great teacher for someone who is diving into Japanese for the first time. Arrigato, Asami-sensei :D

We went through some usual greetings and other words, and we got to talk about grammar too. Asami-sensei is very patient and smiles all the time. I really enjoy these classes. Arrigato gozaimasu!

Today I had a lot of questions, and Asami-sensei is patient as always. She is great at explaining and giving examples that makes things easier to remember. I can highly recommend Asami-sensei as a teacher!

Third lesson done! I am really enjoying our classes. We continue to learn Hiragana, but also take some sneakpeaks into Katakana and Kanji as well. And I was mindblown when I understood where the word Tamagochi comes from! I have such a great time studying Japanese with Asami sensei. Can't wait for next lesson! Arrigato, Asami sensei!
