Hello! My name is Teru, and I am a native Japanese speaker living in Tokyo with over three years of experience teaching the language. After graduating from a university in London and studying at a sushi academy in Tokyo, I've had many opportunities to interact with people from all over the world. My four years of marketing experience also allow me to teach a wide range of topics, from casual conversation to business Japanese.Since I can provide support in English, beginners can feel at ease!

日本語ネイティブで、これまで3年以上日本語を教えてきました。
ロンドンの大学を卒業後、東京の寿司アカデミーでも学び、海外の方と関わる機会をたくさん持ってきました。また、マーケティングの仕事を4年間していた経験もあり、日常会話からビジネス日本語まで幅広く対応できます。

I highly recommend Teru-sensei!
You can easily practice and build a correct and natural conversational output in a relaxed manner. He explained the things and topics I asked in a very detailed way since he is also fluent in English. He corrects your mistakes in a way that you can easily understand and remember. You will learn a lot of new things from Teru-sensei. Will book again!

I have had a very good experience with Teru-sensei. I am a Japanese beginner and the way he teaches helps me learn quickly. He is very encouraging and gives me examples to connect to words and letters in Japanese to remember them better. He is a very kind and considerate teacher that I feel like I can have great conversations with. I confidently recommend him to any Japanese learner, especially beginners like me.
