Hi! I’m Masha and I love meeting people from different countries and just having good conversations. In my free time, I enjoy watching TV shows, shopping, cooking different meals, and relaxing with music or something fun. I’m a friendly and easygoing person, and I want my students to feel comfortable and free to speak without stress.
I’m not a traditional teacher — I’m more like a language partner. I help students talk more, feel confident, and speak naturally. I don’t correct every small mistake, because I want you to enjoy the process and not be afraid to make errors. I focus on making conversation easy, fun, and useful for real life.
In my lessons, we talk! That’s the main goal — to help you speak more and feel comfortable using the language. I can help with pronunciation, basic grammar if needed, and new words, but most of the time we just practice speaking. Another great lesson today. We spoke a lot about various things. I love that the focus is on comprehending what I am trying to say and not about constant correction. I felt safe and we had fun learning more about each other.

My time was enjoyable. I decided to increase my lessons to 90 minutes. This gives me plenty of time to practice content and absorb it slower, since I am a senior. We had lots of fun and we varied the lesson. We spent time on pronunciation of multi-syllable words and describing pictures. This gives me natural vocabulary and three-dimensional learning. I engage my eyes, ears and voice. I love that I found Mariia.

I feel like I am being redundant but today was a very enjoyable lesson. We discussed our favorite songs. We had an enthusiastic discussion about child development. I loved it!
