I’ve taught English for 8 years, which sparked my interest in the differences between English and Korean. Living in Korea, I’ve met many foreign friends online and helped them improve their Korean, so I understand what it takes to learn a new language.
I love building streaks and habits—I’ve kept a diary over 10 years, used Duolingo 800+ days, 말해보카 600+ days, and Anki 120+ days. These experiences show how powerful consistent practice can be.
I’m also a singer-songwriter who enjoys expressing life through writing and music. I prefer a challenging life to an easy one and bring this spirit to teaching, encouraging students to embrace challenges, stay consistent, and enjoy learning Korean.Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
I teach Korean step by step depending on your level:
📕 Absolute beginners: Learn Hangul, basic pronunciation, and simple greetings.
📙 Beginners: Practice everyday conversations, basic grammar (particles, tenses), and short writing like daily routines.
📗 Intermediate learners: Focus on natural expressions, different speech levels, and real-life content like news, dramas, and YouTube.
📘 Advanced learners: Discuss complex topics and current events, and learn idioms and cultural expressions to speak Korean naturally. Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi

Izzie쎔's conversation lessons are definitely a cut above the usual free talking lessons as she always gives concrete learning takeaways. While maintaining a good flow of conversation and relaxed atmosphere, she points out corrections during the lesson and writes them in the chat so that you can practise them immediately. After the lesson, she takes the trouble to organise and collate the learning points from the lesson (vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, pronunciation) into a clear set of notes. She's clearly an experienced and confident teacher. I also appreciate her great tips on language learning strategies, acquired from her own experience.
