Hello! I’m Sema, a native Turkish speaker and a psychology student.
I love exploring how languages connect people and how learning a new language opens a door to a new culture. That’s one of the reasons I enjoy teaching Turkish — it’s not just about grammar or vocabulary, but about understanding how Turkish people think, feel, and express themselves.
Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about psychology, literature, and learning new languages — right now I’m studying Spanish at a beginner level!Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
As a teacher, I see language learning as both a mental and emotional process.
My background in psychology helps me understand what my students need to stay motivated and confident, but my main focus is always effective language teaching.
I aim to create lessons where you can think in Turkish naturally, without feeling pressured or anxious. I value patience, curiosity, and clear communication in my classes. Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
I offer two main types of lessons:
– Grammar-focused lessons, where we build a strong foundation in Turkish structure and accuracy.
– Communication-focused lessons, where we develop your ability to speak, understand, and interact naturally in Turkish through discussions, reading, and listening activities.
I love helping advanced learners sound more natural and culturally fluent, but I also enjoy guiding complete beginners step by step.

The first lesson went great! Sema is a very easy-going person and she prepared a topic for discussion in advance, which was great. She also asked me a lot of questions and gave me enough opportunity to speak. I recommend.
