My name is Raouf, I’m 30 years old and I live in Oran, Algeria. I hold a PhD in Pharmacy and have a strong background in both science and teaching.
I’ve always been passionate about languages and communication. I speak French, Maghrebi Arabic, and English fluently, and I’m currently learning Spanish. I love exploring different cultures, playing video games, watching movies, and reading.
Languages have always been more than just a skill for me—they’re a meaningful way to connect with people from around the world. Teaching them is not only a passion but truly a vocation. As a tutor, I share the learning strategies that have helped me master several languages myself. I focus on helping students build a solid foundation in French, from vocabulary and grammar to pronunciation and conversation, while keeping every class engaging and adapted to their interests.

My lessons are centered on conversation and real-life situations. I help beginners learn the basics step by step and guide intermediate or advanced learners toward fluency and natural expression.
I often use authentic materials such as TV5Monde videos, news articles, songs, and short dialogues to make lessons dynamic and relevant. Depending on the student’s level, I can simplify or enrich the content, and I always encourage curiosity and active participation.

If you are preparing for a test or simply want to improve your french, i highly recommend him. His method of teaching is very creative and interesting and he will make sure you understand everything. I wish i had started taking classes with him sooner.

Great lesson again with Raouf who was awesome in clarifying some complex grammar concepts! He was patient and encouraging and also kept relevant notes in the chat as we progressed through the lesson.

The professor is really smart and great when it comes to French pronunciation and conducting lessons. It’s like he has really good hearing and can catch even the slightest deviation in pronunciation. I’ll definitely reschedule a meeting when I feel like I’m not pronouncing words correctly after learning them.
