I'm 33 years old and have extensive teaching experience. In the past years I've taught Italian to newly arrived foreign young adults in Italy, and English and Spanish to preschool and primary school children. I currently tutor high school students in language subjects.

I'm an energetic yet gentle and patient teacher. It's fundamental for me to empathize with my students and understand their learning styles and interests, and use those as a starting point to make my lessons more engaging and effective.
Sono un'insegnante energica ma allo stesso tempo dolce e paziente. My approach is communicative. In my classes, I try to encourage students to hypothesize about the language (active learning) and to overcome shame through a new understanding of mistakes. These, in fact, won't be corrected immediately by the teacher, as they are a useful part of the learning process. El material que utiliza Martina es muy didáctico y de nivel apropiado. Estoy aprendiendo a muy buen ritmo, cada vez entiendo mucho más y estoy ya articulando mejor.

Me gusta que Martina combina gramática con conversación. Me corrige solo lo necesario y es muy clara cuando habla italiano. Todo el tiempo me está hablando en italiano y eso me ha permitido una mejor comprensión del idioma. He progresado mucho y ya estoy empezando a armar frases y oraciones. Estoy muy satisfecho. 💪
