My name is Dave and I'm a CELTA and TEFL certified native English teacher based out of Madrid, Spain. I have been teaching English to Spanish speakers for about 10 years now in both school and academy settings. I'm an avid reader and language enthusiast who likes to escape to the mountain trails every now and then. I speak Spanish at a C2 level and European Portuguese at a B1 (or so) level. Apart from that, I keep myself busy playing the guitar and practicing freestyle wrestling with the Spanish national team.Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
I have been teaching English as a foreign language for the past ten years in Madrid, Spain. I have worked in both high schools and academies during this time. I have also helped several students prepare for exams such as the Cambridge and Trinity exams.Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
Having reached the C2 level in Spanish, I have learned a lot about the language learning process and it's many difficulties. Therefore, I know which methods are effective, and which traditional methods are not. I really believe in focusing on a students’ interest and branching out from there, identifying points of weakness as we go and improving upon them. I really enjoyed our first class! Dave is very patient and he structured the lesson in order to understand all of my weak points and he developed a plan to help me improve them. I’m definitely booking other classes!
