Beginner Korean A1–A2 | Clear Structure, Real-Life Korean I’m a Korean teacher specializing in beginner learners (A1–A2). I use the Sejong Korean curriculum to provide clear structure and steady progress, while adapting each lesson to the learner. With a background in arts education and an official Korean Language Teaching Certificate from the King Sejong Institute Foundation, I explain not only what Korean means, but also how it sounds, feels, and is used in real life. My classes balance grammar and speaking, with attention to tone, nuance, and cultural feeling behind textbook sentences. They are focused, engaging, beginner-friendly with a touch of humor. I believe language learning is not only about accuracy but also about attention, feeling, and connection. In class, we explore real-life Korean— how people actually speak in cafés, travel situations, daily routines, and small talk. We look at why certain expressions feel polite, distant, warm, or indirect, and how meaning changes with tone and context. My goal is to help students not just learn Korean, but notice it—and gradually deepen their understanding of how Korean language and culture move together.
