Learning a foreign language is like climbing Mount Everest. I understand that if one makes an attempt to climb that incredibly difficult mountain that one can observe people who have died making the attempt. Perhaps they lacked the tools or the tenacity. Learning a foreign language, without the right tools, could have caused me to join the legions who have allowed their study of Italian to end. Zaira has equipped me with the resources I needed to not only improve my B1 level Italian but to eventually succeed in speaking la bella lingua. She is an extraordinarily kind and patient teacher. I appreciate the time she takes, not only during the lesson, but outside of the lesson to help me understand Italian better. She responds quickly to my messages on italki. Too often, fast-talking online polyglots try to sell language learners on their panaceas that will magically create fluency. What is required is a teacher like Zaira to help us along our language journey to success.
