Hi~~ I’m Fiona. I’m a native Chinese speaker based in Nanjing, a city in East China next to Shanghai.
I studied business (Bachelor’s + Master’s) in Singapore and Australia, so I’m very comfortable supporting learners in English and helping you use Chinese in real-life situations.
I’m here for “Chill Mandarin” — relaxed practice that still helps you make real progress. If you feel shy, nervous, or stuck (“I understand but I can’t speak”), you’ll be safe with me!
Outside of tutoring, I’m into fitness training, travel planning, music and building good habits—so I’m great at keeping learning consistent and practical.
Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
My style is chill but effective. I’m friendly and low-pressure, but I’m also good at guiding conversations so you can actually improve.
What you can expect from me:
- A relaxed environment where you can speak more and overthink less
- Gentle corrections (pronunciation/tones/word choice) without interrupting your flow
- Clear, simple explanations in English when needed
- A short recap after class (key phrases + what to practice)
If you want a tutor who feels like a supportive friend but still helps you improve, I’m your person~~
Phong cách dạy & bài học của tôi
My lessons are conversation-based and personalized to your level.
If you already know some Chinese:
We’ll focus on speaking more naturally—real-life phrases, smoother sentence structure, and pronunciation/tones during conversation.
If you’re a complete beginner:
We can start in a relaxed way with pinyin + tones + survival Mandarin, and practice the most useful sentences first (introductions, ordering food, directions, shopping, simple daily life). I’ll guide you step by step with lots of repetition and speaking practice and, no pressure~!
(If you need strict textbook/HSK-focused teaching, I may not be the best match. But if you want relaxed, practical speaking practice, I’m here~~)
