Hi! My name is Olha, and I am a tutor of Ukrainian language. I specialise in teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language. I am fluent in English and Finnish, and I hold a Master's degree in English philology.
I grew up in the Rivne region of Ukraine, and now I live in Finland. Also, I have lived in South Korea for a while as an exchange student, and I am truly curious about various countries, languages and cultures.
My hobbies are cross-stitching, one of the Ukrainian traditional handicrafts, and Ukrainian national dances. In my lessons, I frequently incorporate my knowledge of and experience in Ukrainian culture, literature, and history.Tôi với tư cách là giáo viên
As a teacher, I am diligent in planning lessons, patient with explanations, and creative when it comes to the task creation and student engagement. I am flexible with teaching methods, and I always listen to my students' requests and feedback.
I am fluent in English, and I hold a Master's degree in English philology; thus, I am familiar with the concepts of various languages and methodologies of teaching languages. I love both teaching and learning languages; it is truly my passion, which I would like to share with my students.

With beginners, we start with the letters, sounds, and correct pronunciation while learning basic vocabulary and grammar. Beginner learners need more structured learning, so we will use a course book which covers various topics, such as Introducing yourself, Food, Shopping, Society, Ukraine and its culture, etc, and learn vocabulary and grammar through relevant context. I will always supplement lessons with some fun and interesting activities or games not to get bored and tired with grammar. I will give you homework and additional tasks upon request.
