She is Great, I do understand Spanish from the first lesson

Great lesson with Marilyn! We talked about a number of topics. Marilyn had prepared some questions about "my first time doing...". When I got stuck and wasn't sure how to say something in Spanish, Marilyn would help me out. She also asked questions about my experience. Marilyn is good to talk to - we had a lot of fun in the lesson!

Marilyn has been helping me with my spoken Spanish recently. I fall into the category of "I've listened to a lot of Spanish but can't really speak". She is patient as I try to work out my thoughts, and uses the chat function to write down words that I get stuck on. It is helpful because I'm not worried about being perfect, so I can try to say what I'm thinking even if I get it wrong. I enjoy the lessons!

Great lesson with Marilyn! We talked about several things - including weddings and marriage in Mexico and the US. We also talked about big cities like Mexico City, and the problems that big cities have. It was fun learning and talking with Marilyn about these things and about our personal experiences!
