Johannes Dietvorst

Definitely made the right choice when choosing him as the teacher. Each lesson is specifically prepared to the topic, explanations are clear and simple, yet effective and easy to memories. 10/10 would recoomend to anyone.

Johan's knowledge about the Dutch language is truly impressive. His passion, positive energy and enthusiasm to share it make his lesson always entertaining and full of learning. Also he is very patient and manages to make me talk despite my low speaking level, which I appreciate a lot. And he has a ton of material that he can adapt to suit the way you want to practice. So I can only recommend him, whether you are a beginner or want to improve your current level, you'll be in good hands.

I had a short class with Johannes and learned a lot. He has the teaching skills we need to learn a new language and creative tricks to make our lives easier!

He is the coolest teacher on italki but at the same time the most attentive and professional one too. I only have one regret is that I haven’t booked a lesson earlier with him :/ And known him during my dutch course

Really enjoyed my first meeting with Johannes. He made me feel comfortable right off the bat and spoke at my level while still introducing new words with context. It made me feel like I can actually speak Dutch, which maybe is a little bit of a stretch, but it helped my confidence for sure.
