Hello, everyone! I’m a native English speaker from the USA with C1 proficiency in Russian. I've been teaching on italki since 2018, but I started tutoring in 2016. I'm currently a school librarian. My favorite hobbies are reading, playing video games, traveling, and studying languages. I’m a friendly, open person that enjoys learning new things. I live with my husband and our two pets. I have a bachelor’s degree in English, plus three master's degrees in peace and conflict studies, politics and public administration, and library science. Additionally, I'm TEFL/TESOL-certified.
I have regular experience with English language learners here on Italki as well as at my other jobs. I'm able to teach kids 10 years old and older, teens, and adults. I primarily conduct informal lessons that focus on conversation practice, but I’m also able to teach a structured grammar course or check documents. In informal lessons, we can describe pictures, discuss a news article or book, or talk freely on a wide range of topics. I'm looking forward to seeing you in my lessons! The remaining 20 hours were devoted to introductions to business English and teaching English to young learners.

Thank you so much, Christi. I love having lessons with you. We can talk for hours and play fun games. It's always hilarious to chat with you. I really appreciate you are so supportive and easy-going. For me, you're the best teacher.
