Tarntawan

I stopped taking lessons for about 2 months due to work. Kruu has been very kind to help me revise what I have forgotten. I actually miss having lessons with Kruu because I always learn a lot during lessons and by not having lessons makes me feel that my progress has slowed down. Today's lesson was awesome. Again, kruu will train my listening. She'll then give me opportunities to use the language. Then she'll provide interesting quotes or short passage to get me to read. It seems a lot of work in a lesson but time just passes by very quickly as it's always fun and productive! I am already slowly able to form short complete sentences. Yay!

I've taken at least 20 lessons with Kru Tarntawan over the last 2 and a half months, and I've really enjoyed her teaching. I have gone from zero to being able to form sentences, speaking sentences, responding to small talk, and being able to understand shorter spoken sentences too. There is a good variety of vocabulary and grammar that I've learned, as well as cultural topics and current news. I am looking forward to continuing my lessons with Kru Tarntawan!

Tarntawan had a teaching plan ready for my objectives and we quickly started learning about tones. I could say some basic sentences by the end of our first class. Highly recommend!

I had my first lesson with Kru Tarntawan. I can already speak Thai, but I needed a refresher. After our first meeting, Kru Tarntawan was very transparent and open about her teaching style, which really matched how I like to learn languages. In our lesson I spoke a lot about myself, and she took notes while explaining the words I was unfamiliar with, as well as how I can best use them in conversation and writing. She is very kind and encouraging, and I’m excited to continue learning Thai with her. Thank you, ka!

I went into this lesson knowing almost nothing about the Thai language. I was very nervous but Ms. Tarntawan was very nice and made the lesson very fun. She will challenge you in a good way. I like how there are handouts and homework to keep you accountable for the next class!
