A mi me encanta hablar con las personas, en un principio sobre temas cotidianos para poco a poco pasar a conversaciones más y más profundas sobre el desarrollo humano, intereses, incertidumbres, creencias, experiencias, anécdotas, gustos y disgustos, nuestra cultura, familias, países, costumbres, nuestras propias emociones, deseos, anécdotas, proyectos, sueños, temores, exitos y los fracasos, pues me permite conocer su parte auténtica y verdadera. También hablar, constructivamente, sobre las ideas de las personas que observamos, como pudieran ser líderes mundiales, artistas, escritores, inventores, cantantes, activistas pasados y presentes.

This review is long overdue!! I have been taking Spanish lessons with Mariela for over 6 months now. Mariela's teaching style is truly exemplary—friendly, patient, well organized, and knowledgable. Each lesson is very relaxed. She utilizes a book, online exercises, and recommends shows and/or movies to help with my progression. I look forward to each lesson and—after all this time—feel she's genuinely "mi amiga."
