Second class with Minnie and I’m learning heaps. Really enjoy speaking with her and really appreciate Minnie for writing the words down during the class. That really helps me when I am reviewing my lesson and remembering the words. Thanks Minnie!

We've been having online classes with Minnie for over 3 months now. Minnie is the best language teacher I ever had - be it online or on-site. I feel very motivated after every lesson with her, because she makes me feel that I can already speak Chinese. I was starting with almost no prior knowledge, but now we mostly use Chinese throughout the class. She knows what words I already know and mostly uses these, but slowly introducing new ones. She's always speaking in Chinese first. If that fails - she tries to explain it using other Chinese words and only then - if I still can't understand it - she uses English. This immersion method is a great way to learn the language!

Minnie was really excellent. She is highly encouraging and believes in her students' abilities. Looking forward to continuing my Cantonese journey!

(Review for English students) First official lesson with Minnie was amazing! She was very patient with teaching me how to pronounce different sounds in Mandarin, and her powerpoint is easy to follow. She is very friendly and very easy to talk to, compared to other teachers. Thank you Minnie! I look forward to having you as a Mandarin teacher for the next few years!

She's a great teacher, she taught me since the beginning everything and she doesn't slack off, she moves fast, the way I like it, I don't feel it's too overwhelming but I also don't feel it's too slow. She gives me the right materials for us to review in class, we practice a lot and in each class with each new grammar and vocabulary we learn, in the beginning, we make a small conversation as a review of what we saw last class and then move forward to our class. She makes me feel like I'm actually progressing and encourages me to talk more.
