Raphaël is great. He's quite attuned, so even when I hit a roadblock with the language, conversation feels easy. One of my goals is to be able to enjoy films and TV. He gave me a YouTube video to watch and then discuss at the next lesson. The video was the perfect length and level to push me towards better comprehension of more complex and informal media.

Raphaël has a wonderful approach to teaching. He uses a textbook and provides a very structured environment to ensure the student actually understands what they are learning. He helps you get the details right as you learn but also provides tips and guidance on focusing on the things you do know for real-world situations. Working with him already relives much stress and makes me feel that I can learn French!
