Student in Canada (British born, Canadian Citizen) studying: Sociology, Political Science, and East Asian Studies.
I am a TEFL certified professional teacher, I have my settings as "community tutor" to offer cheaper lessons for my students. I have been teaching on italki for 7 years.
I volunteer often at my university's English Conversation Club, Study Abroad Team and more. I did a study abroad in Spain last summer and I have lived in Japan for 1 year. I have a podcast and blog called Cultural Curiosity, I'd love to interview you! I also stream on twitch and make content!

I want you to be comfortable and at ease. This will help you talk better, if you are nervous you will make more mistakes. You are welcome to ask me any questions as it is important to build trust between teacher/student, and I will be asking you lots of questions myself. I am here to build your confidence, but please remember if you are serious about improving, you need to study at home outside of lessons.

In my lessons I want to get you talking as much as possible, while also trying to provide you with a challenge in talking about some topical and difficult subjects. I usually provide some material to do this with, either before or in class. I am here to correct your mistakes and give ALL my students feedback, in the form of Google Docs.

It is always a pleasure having a lesson with Rebecca. She is kind and has a great personality. Even though there are lots of teachers on Italki Rebecca is one of the better and sensible options to choose.
