I've had a most rewarding experience of sharing with Anna a piece of fiction that I wrote. Her offline editing and proof-reading is unbelievably thorough on all levels, including such nuances as the rhythmic structure of the sentence. Her perceptive comments helped me improve my text and elaborate on those points that remained unclear. In our live discussions Anna talked about her impression from the text as a whole, putting it in the context of her very rich experience as a reader, generously sharing her observations, associations and perceptions based on her own background and sensibility. Being a highly qualified editor who is also versed in psychoanalysis, Anna made astute remarks that helped me reflect on the nature of my characters and my deeper motivations as a writer.
