Hi! I’m Tamara, a certified English teacher with 10+ years of experience. I teach teenagers and adults. As a native Russian speaker raised in the US, I bridge cultures seamlessly in lessons. My degrees in psychology and business, plus my different interests, help me tailor classes to your goals—whether it’s acing interviews or chatting confidently. Having lived in Shanghai and traveled across Asia and Europe, I love weaving cultural insights into learning. I speak Russian and elementary Mandarin. I was raised with Russian as my native language, but I was raised in America. I can help you with business English, conversational English, IELTS, and preparing for interviews. I also enjoy covering a wide variety of topics according to your interests. I can cover topics such as basic and conversational English (i.e. introductions, small talk, special interests, hobbies), business English (i.e. jobs, careers, talking to your boss), and cultural exchanges. I take the "practice-test-teach-review" approach. I require that if you’re a new student, please tell me about your English level, and what class topics you’re interested in.
